Join the Poetics Lab in our first annual Prominent Poets Series events! We are excited to be hosting Cody Walker and Jeremy Proehl at this year's festivities! No registration required for open-mic at PiF on September 20th. Registration is REQUIRED for the Formal Reading on September 21st at ACC.

About the event
the Prominent Poet Series is a new annual event based on last year's successful Poet Laureate Visit! We are excited to be hosting University of Michigan professor and poet, Cody Walker, and local poet, Jeremy Proehl for this two pronged event. First, our Prominent Poets will be joining us for a fun filled community open mic at PiF Cider on Saturday, September 20th. Then, they will be delivering a wonderful formal reading and Q&A session on Sunday, September 21st at Granum Theater of Alpena Community College.
