Workshop and Open Mic Guidelines

In our program, participants will:

          1. Explore language's importance in forming identity

          2. Gain insight into the creative process of writing poetry

          3. Engage with their community through performance 

We invite individuals to share their experiences and stories so that we may learn from and uplift one another

Vulnerability is not only encouraged in poetry, but also celebrated. We provide a judgement-free space in which this vulnerability can exist

Participants of all experience levels are invited to our spaces to experiment with and learn/grown in the art of poetry

We strive for our events to be accessible to all -- offering hybrid options for every open-mic, workshop and event
